As we celebrate traditional Australian bush skills we shine a light on the crucial role heavy horses played in opening up and building our country.
The Clydesdale Society will be at King of the Ranges all weekend.
Relive history watching the working exhibitions and displays of heavy horses in action. There will be the beautiful decorated harness displays, working team ploughing obstacle courses and of course the pumpkin snatch race.
What and Where
Plowing demonstrations in the paddock above Ring 2 on Friday and Saturday at 11.30am and 12.30pm.
Pumpkin Snatch races in Ring 1 on Saturday at 3pm.
Participants will be chosen from the crowd to ride the sled and race to take the win.
